Ravi Teja Refunds Rs 4 Crore to MrBachchan Producers After Disappointing Box Office Performance
Ravi Teja’s film, “Mr. Bachchan” the remake of the successful Bollywood film “Raid” has regrettably fallen short at the box office, despite strong initial expectations.Released last month, the film received a tepid response and has been labeled a commercial disappointment.
In response to the film’s poor performance and the resulting financial losses for producers and distributors, Ravi Teja and director Harish Shankar have taken notable steps to address the situation. Ravi Teja has decided to return a portion of his earnings to the film’s producer, showing his commitment to the project’s stakeholders. Meanwhile, director Harish Shankar has refunded Rs 2 crore and agreed to forgo an additional Rs 4 crore from his future remuneration.
